The shamanic drum is one of humanity's oldest instruments — a bridge between the everyday world and the deeper rhythms that pulse beneath it. At Castle Carrock Drumming Circle, we gather monthly to share that ancient connection in a warm, welcoming, and entirely accessible space.

Whether you are seeking emotional healing, spiritual alignment, or simply a moment of stillness in a busy world, this circle provides a gateway to deeper consciousness and connection. No musical experience is needed-Come as you are and find your rhythm with us.

The shamanic drum is a wonderful accessible tool that can transform your life. When I play my drum I become still and calm; like the still calm waters on a mirrored lake. In my state of deep relaxation, stress and tension dissolve away and I enter into a pure state of inner peace; the gateway to the much deeper levels of the mind, an altered state of consciousness which has the positive power to heal and release emotional energy blocks, align and balance your energy centres and chakra’s. Deepening our meditative experience. Studies have shown that drumming in a group promotes social connection and bonding, helping to reduce symptoms of depression and improve your overall mood, the essential social bonding often missing in our hectic and busy lives. We meet at the Watson Institute On the Mar, Castle Carrock,                 a beautiful and intimate venue that holds the energy of our gatherings with care. Every session is guided, grounded, and open to all.
